Japan 2015 Part 4: Tokyo

Where to Stay For our Tokyo leg, we booked a room at Flexstay Inn Nakanobu. We had a hard time finding an affordable hotel in Tokyo but I came across this hotel one day. It's quite a walk from the Nakanobu subway station so the location isn't perfect but for the price we paid, it's still acceptable. you can also take the bus to Nishi-oi station if you want to take the JR trains. To book a room, click  here . Notes: We started using our JR Pass when we started our Hiroshima leg. The directions you'll find in this post are suitable only if you are using a JR Pass.  Day 0 - Tokyo Metropolitan Building and Shibuya Tokyo Metropolitan Building How to get there: The nearest JR Station is Shinjuku Station. What's special here: You can view the entire city of Tokyo from high above for no cost at all. The night views here are good to say the least. Shibuya How to get there: The nearest JR Station is Shibuya Station Hachiko - No visit at Shibuya

It's a bit pricey compared to your usual hotels but still quite cheap compared to othe Ryokans. To book a room, click  here . Hiroshima Miyajima How to get there: From Hiroshima Station, take the train to Miyajimaguchi Station. From there, it is a short walk to the ferry station. Mount Misen via Miyajima Ropeway How to get there: The lower station of the Miyajima Ropeway is about 10 minutes walk from Itsukushima Shrine. A-Dome &  Peace Park How to get there: There are several options. If you are using a JR Pass, go back to Miyajimaguchi Station and then take the train back to Nishi-Hiroshima Station and then transf
